Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has finally ended up their relationship and decided to remain only as a good friend. Cracks have been created in their relationship due to Katrina's knotting with Ranbir Kapoor on the set of 'Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahini'. Salman picked up fighting with Katrina for her closeness with Ranbir. Earlier Salman did not believe to the Kat-Ranbir's rumors but later when the rumor high up, he finds hard to trust on Katrina's word. This is not the first time that the duo had a fight. Earlier too Salman had major differences with Katrina regarding marriage issue. Sallu wanted to start his family and have kids as he is crossing the appropriate time but Kat who is just 24 is not in the mood to get into matrimonial bonding so early.Bollywood is buzz with Kat-Sallu's break up as this time the duo is showing no sign of reconciliation. Without settling the issue, the couple headed to different ways for a long time. Katrina is off to Singapore on Wednesday night to shoot for 'De Dhana Dhan' with Akshay Kumar and Salman got busy with the shooting of 'London Dreams' with Asin.

Ranbir Kapoor after playing Sonam Kapoor's Saawariya and Deepika Padukone's love interest in Bachna Ae Haseeno is teaming up with Priyanka Chopra for director Siddharth Anand's next. "It is a romantic comedy, which I've specialized in over the years. But this is a twisted one with a twang and all that jazz," said Anand.Priyanka has many promising projects in hand. She is currently busy shooting with Uday Chopra for Yash Raj "Pyar Impossible". Priyanka had a fabulous 2008 and looking forward to her next release Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Kaminay' starring Shahid Kapur.Neither producer Sajid Nadiadwala nor Anand are willing to divulge any details of the film. Ranbir also has many wonderful projects in his bags. He is paired with Katrina Kaif in 'Rajniti' and 'Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahini'.

It is known that he had a fall out with Piggy Chops due to her extrovert and party nature. He used to induce his principles on Priyanka which she doesn't like at all. Therefore Shahid overprotective nature is assumed to have created hole in their relationship.Shahid's birthday party marked the beginning of their tussle where Priyanka Chopra was totally absorbed in her vodka despite Shahid's objection. Ash-Abhi may celebrate anniversary in Europe

The ill-health of director Mani Ratnam has changed the plan of Ash-Abhi to skip celebration and shoot for 'Raavan' during their second marriage anniversary. Mani who was advised to take rest by doctors may take a short break from his work and may not work on the day of their anniversary. Ash-Abhi who failed to celebrate anniversary last year may head for Europe or the US on April 20.Ratnam was admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospital due to breathing difficulty and chest pain. Mani's health has put a question mark whether they will shoot or not. Moreover Ash and Abhi who is very concerned about this health does no want him to take much strain. Earlier when Mani approached them to shoot some crucial scene as he does not want to delay the project anymore, the duo agreed.For the last few months the Bachchan duo was going through very hectic schedules and hardly got time to spend with each other. They are excited as they will get to enjoy this anniversary.

The battle has begun between two former south Indian actresses Asin and Genelia now ruling the roost in Bollywood for India's biggest orange soft drink market- South India.Asin has been endorsing Mirinda for the last three years, while Genelia has become Fanta brand ambassador from this year.Tamilnadu alone accounts for 25 percent of the total orange soft drink market in the country. The rivalry between PepsiCo and Coca Cola India for the South Orange market has been bitter, and much juice has flowed in the campaign.Last three years the market leader in the orange category was clearly PepsiCo India's Mirinda, thanks to Asin, while Simran and later Trisha gave stiff competition with Coca Cola India's Fanta.This summer, Fanta has decided to take Mirinda head on by signing up Genelia, the new youth icon in Bollywood who has a huge fan base in south.Says a leading Chennai based brand consultant: " Asin and Genelia are big in Bollywood today after Ghajini and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na respectively. If things go as planned, the eagerly awaited Bollywood movie Kambakkht Ishq will premiere at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.The festival in the south of France can see Bollywood's action and comedy king Akshay Kumar and style diva Kareena Kapoor walking the red carpet in May.High on style and oomph, 'Kambakkht Ishq' is a movie with an international appeal and tons of Hollywood glamour in the desirable shapes of stars like the 'Rambo' man Sylvester Stallone, 'Wild Things' sex siren Denise Richards, and 'Superman' Brandon Routh. So it's not surprising that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is thinking of showcasing the film at Cannes.Reports say plans are already afoot to slice the movie's running time and to dub it in English for the special screening at the Cannes Film Festival.And buzz is that everyone from the cast, including Akshay, Kareena and the Hollywood stars will walk the red carpet for the film's premiere.The makers of 'Kambakkht Ishq' don't want to leave any stone unturned to promote the film as an international movie. The film will release worldwide with a huge number of prints (the figure is not known) surpassing even blockbusters like Singh Is Kinng and Ghajini , that set records for releasing with maximum number of prints.And both Nadiadwala and the film's distributor Eros International see a Cannes premiere as the best possible international publicity for the film. The producer says plans are underway but the Cannes premiere is not confirmed yet. .

Genelia D'souza was in New Delhi on Wednesday April 15th to launch Samsung's Ultra Touch, a full touch slider phone with an 8 megapixel camera.She was dressed in a white figure hugging dress Genelia posed with the handset along with Jung Soo Shin and Sunil Dutt of Samsung.Genelia seems to be fast emerging as the new favorite for endorsements in the recession hit corporate world. She has also recently inked a deal to promote Cadbury's Perk chocolate which had been made famous earlier by dimpled beauty Preity Zinta.Her ad campaigns now include brands such as Parker pen with Amitabh Bachchan, Fair and Lovely with cricketer Krish Srikanth, Fanta Apple and Vatika. If all goes well, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will come face to face on July 3. The clash is purely professional, what with their respective films - SRK's DULHA MIL GAYA and Salman's WANTED - hitting the screens on that Friday.DULHA MIL GAYA producer Viveck Vaswani is eyeing 3rd July because "July 4 is Independence Day in America and Shah Rukh enjoys a massive following there. I would like to capitalize on the Independence Day weekend, " Viveck tells me.Which means DULHA MIL GAYA will clash with Salman Khan's WANTED. "If Boney Kapoor says he's committed for 3rd July and requests me to shift my film to another week, I will do so. But so far there haven't been any talks, " Viveck clarifies.DULHA MIL GAYA is far from complete. Reportedly, SRK's portions remain to be filmed."The talkie is complete. Just one qawwali remains to be shot, which can be included at the last minute too, " Viveck reveals. He also rubbishes rumours that SRK has delayed the film."Shah Rukh had informed me at the very outset of his busy schedule and the possibility of the film getting delayed. The delay is not because of him, it's because of me. An important schedule went haywire when my father passed away. Anushka Sharma loses golden chance due to YRF contract

It's touted as the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. And now Arundhati is all set to be remade into Hindi.Many producers including Ghajini's Madhu Mantena were vying for the Hindi remake rights.But the producer of the Telugu producer M. Shyam Prasad Reddy has decided to remake the film in Hindi.Sonu Sood who played the main antagonist in the Telugu film and is all set to encore the same part in Hindi, confirms these developments.Confirming these developments Sood says, "I'm excited because we all worked very hard on making the Telugu original something special. Lots of producers wanted to remake it in Hindi. But now the original producer has decided to go for it.The Hindi Arundhati will be far more expensive and polished. We start shooting in June. "Sood has already started preparing for the part. "The Hindi version will have to be severely revised."The remakes expert Priyadarshan was approached to direct Arundhati in Hindi. Apparently Priyan has no time at such short notice."And the original director Kodi Ramkrishna can't understand Hindi. So we're probably going with a guy named Rahul who did all the special effects in Tamil."And now for the most crucial question. Who plays the central role of Arundhati in this woman-dominated film? Though no one is willing to commit to any name sources reveal that the makers of Arundhati were very keen to sign Anushka Sharma who starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Says the source, "They needed someone strong robust young and determined and very North Indian as the lead in Hindi. They really wanted Anushka Sharma. She was perfect.But the producer was under the impression that she's under contract with Yashraj Films and unable to do any outside film. Now they might settle for the actress who played the lead in the Telugu Arundhati in Hindi. Coincidentally her name too is Anushka."Surprisingly Arjan (Fashion) Bajwa who played the romantic lead in Arundhati is no part of the Hindi remake.When questioned Arjan says, "They haven't asked me. Even if they had I wouldn't do it. Have you seen what has been done to my role in the Telugu film?" .

Aishwarya and SRK: Not meant to be together

Shah Rukh and Ash sizzled on screen as a twin brother-sister jodi in 'Josh'.Then their pairing was accepted in Aditya Chopra's 'Mohabbatein' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas' too. They really had good chemistry.But that was that. They were not supposed to act together after that.It all started when Ash's ex boyfriend barged into the sets of 'Chalte Chalte' and Ash ended up being chucked out in favor of Rani Mukerji.Ash never warmed up to SRK and Rani after that. Things soured badly between Sallu and her too.She moved on happily with the Bachchans, some international films and let her chemistry work better with Hrithik Roshan.Recently Mani Ratnam wanted to cast Shahrukh in the lead role opposite Ash in his latest bilingual film 'Ravana' which he's working on currently.Now after things didn't work out for him in Raju Hirani's '3 Idiots' and Shankar's 'Robot', he seemed to have some free time.Mani had then spoken to him about 'Ravana' and the superstar expressed interest in the project. He wanted a good film in his kitty and didn't care so much about the fact that Ash was the leading lady.But before Mani could come to Mumbai and give him a detailed script narration, Aditya Chopra approached SRK for his comeback film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'.

And the actor gave his dates to his dear friend.Mani didn't want to delay the film and he took Abhishek Bachchan as the film's male lead instead of SRK.So SRK and Ash lost a chance to work together again. Not that they mind, but maybe their pairing would have worked wonders for their careers. And maybe it's a chance lost! .

Katrina Kaif ’s loss is Asin’s gain

A girl from down south Tamil Nadu stepped into the glam-world of Bollywood alongside Mr. perfectionist Amir Khan in Ghajini. It seems now the gorgeous lady is planning to hit all the biggies of Bollywood starting with the top three Khan's of the tinsel town. Where she is starring opposite Bollywood's bad boy Salman Khan in London Dreams, we have heard that she would also be seen opposite Badshah Shahrukh Khan, that too under the dream banner of Yash Raj Films. Initially it was Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif, who was going to don this role but Salman's dushmani with Shahrukh, earned Asin this flick. It's not the first time and first girl friend of Sallu that our Badshah didn't wanted to work with. Previously SRK was not even interested in working with Ashwariya Rai in Chalte Chalte and it was Rani Mukherjee who benefited from this.Well, all we can say is that the stars are shining bright for Asin and she should make the most of it as it's said, "Make hay while the sun shines."

Vipul Shah is taking every effort to make his film London Dreams as grand as possible. While he had hired a Hollywood cinematographer to shoot his last film Namastey London to capture London like never seen before on Indian screen, this time he is going beyond the British lands to add new glitz and glimmer to London Dreams .Vipul Shah took special permission to shoot at the Blue Eiffel Tower. London Dreams would be the only film to have the Blue Eiffel Tower featured in the world. That makes Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin, the only celebrities in world to shoot at the Blue Eiffel Tower. This will be the same scene where Salman Khan kneels and proposes to Asin in the film that made news some months back. Ajay Devgan too shot before the Blue Eiffel Tower in a separate sequence.For those wondering why did Eiffel Tower go blue, France had marked the start of its six-month presidency of the European Union by lighting up the Eiffel Tower in blue with yellow stars in spirit with the EU flag.The 300-metre (984-foot) high tower, France's most recognizable monument, took on its blue hue with a giant circle of stars every evening for two months from June 30, 2008.The tower's standard night-time lighting since New Year's Eve in 1985 has been orange-gold but for the first time it turned blue with yellow stars. .

Kambakkht Ishq is a Kamal Haasan remake

Akshay Kumar's next release, Kambakkht Ishq is the remake of a Tamil film starring Kamal Haasan titled, Pammal K. Sambandam (2002). The Tamil film was a big hit down South.In that film, Kamal Haasan had played the title role and it also starred Simran, Abbas and Sneha. Their roles have been substituted with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Sneha respectively.It was directed by Mouli. In the Tamil original, Kamal enacted the role of a film stuntman while Simran was a doctor in the making. In the Hindi version, Akshay Kumar is a renowned stunt artiste while Kareena Kapoor plays a super model.Pammal K. Sambandam was to have been remade in Hindi by Anees Bazmee for South producer GV Films which had acquired the remaking rights for Rs. 5 lakh.However, Sajid paid Rs. 75 lakh for the same remaking rights. Reportedly, Sajid Nadiadwala has spared neither efforts nor money in remaking the South hit.Although it is directed by a new name (Saabir Khan), it is said to have cost over Rs. 60 crore. Incidentally, the film's release has been postponed, thanks to the face-off between multiplexes and producers/distributors. Instead of 29th May, it may now come in August or July. .

Shah Rukh Khan Now apologises to Gavaskar

After apologizing to the Indian barbers for incorporating the word 'Barber' in the title of his home production, sharukh-khan-2Billu Barber and subsequently removing it, Shah Rukh Khan has now apologized to Indian cricket's living legend Sunil Gavaskar for a taunt that he buys his own team if he wanted to run one.The King Khan before departing for South Africa as the IPL season 2 begins there, said, "I have not said anything against Gavaskar. I just wanted to have breathing space to try something new. I have sent him an apology letter because he was in America that time, ""Due to the wonderful methodology that television applies, that comment was for people who don't understand cricket and who are still telling me how to run the team. Freida Pinto was fancied ahead of favourites like Carla Bruni, Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow in a poll by Vanity Fair which crowned Angelina Jolie as the most beautiful woman.The magazine had a list of 19 women from across the globe out of which 33-year-old Jolie swept the poll with 58 per cent votes to become the world's most beautiful woman.The competition wasn't even close, as supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who ranked second, got just 9 per cent of the total votes. Oscar-winning star Halle Berry ranked third with 4 per cent.'Slumdog Millionaire' actress Pinto, who was the only Indian to feature in the list, garnered 2 per cent of the total votes along with actress Cate Blanchette and popstar Beyonce.Pinto, however, was ahead of France's first lady Carla Bruni, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle Macpherson, Kerry Washington and Kate Moss, who got only 1 per cent of the total votes.The 24-year-old Indian beauty was a surprise entry in the list which ignored Hollywood superstars like Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman.Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson, model Bar Rafaeli and Queen Rania of Jordan made it even at 3 per cent."Of the billions of women on this planet, only 19, we believe, could start wars. These modern-day Helens of Troy come from both hemispheres and include legends and ingenues, " the magazine had said about its chosen list. .
