Posted: 13 Apr 2009 02:49 AM PDT Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya were planning to spend some quality time alone followed by a family get-together on their second marriage anniversary, but looks like that plan has been thrown out of gear as Mani Ratnam is shooting for his forthcoming film tentatively titled Raavan on that day.DNA has learnt that the duo were trying to be in Mumbai on April 20 for a private outing and also spend some time with Amitabh and Jaya, but as Mani has already planned to shoot some important shots which could not be postponed, the couple readily accepted Mani's plans and called off their romantic anniversary plans.There are no plans for us as we will be shooting for Mani's film on that day. Posted: 13 Apr 2009 02:38 AM PDT In a scene for Yash Raj Films' forthcoming film, New York, John Abraham told Kabir Khan (director) to re-shoot a stunt involving John Braham Kabir had shot the scene with a stuntman and John had second thoughts. The stunt in question involved John rappelling down a 40-floor skyscraper. Our source said, "John told Kabir that he found that scene spectacular and hence he himself should do it. Obviously, he imagined himself in certain smashing close-ups. Kabir was shocked when John told him about his idea. He asked John if he was sure that he would be able to pull it off. John told him that he would like to take the necessary training. He trained with a few stuntmen for two days."Our source added, "Kabir's heart was in his mouth when he actually did it. John was coming down between two skyscrapers and the wind between two high rise buildings is always very cutting. People with the toughest drive and enthusiasm can be blown away. Even if you are wearing protective gear, which John was wearing, it could prove fatal if the rope snapped or he lost his sense of direction."John's enthusiasm was well worth it - as the scenes turned out spectacular. Posted: 13 Apr 2009 02:13 AM PDT Having reached the end of dubbing process for 'Milenge Milenge', ex-lovers Shahid and Kareena are still hesitant about seeing themselves go lovey-dovey onscreen.The flick was launched in 2006 when Kareena and Shahid were much in love. However, when they split, they left behind a lot of unresolved issues. Now, being onscreen couple is one such situation that is making both the stars antsy.Though the film made brisk progress in the intervening period, Bebo and Shahid are trying their best to stall the release.Directed by Satish Kauhik and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film is on the last stage of completion with the lead stars dubbing for it.Boney is optimistic and is taking things head on. He said, "With the film industry face-off with the multiplexes on, the situation is fluid.
